How you should manage your bankroll has a lot to do with what you want/ what you're expecting to get out of poker.
For example cash games and tournaments require different approaches to bankroll management. With MTTs you need to keep way more buy-ins for your ABI thank you would for cash, I would recommend keeping at least 200 buy-ins for the highest stakes tournament you're going to play. That should give you lots of room to deal with the variance. For cash games you should be fine with something closer to 30-40 buy-ins for the cash games stakes you play and possibly a little more if you're going to be playing zoom tables.
Another thing that influences how you should manage your bankroll is what you outside financial picture looks like. If you have no reliance on your poker bankroll you can be a little more aggressive in an attempt to build it up quicker while being able to redeposit if you go on a downswing. However if you're looking to draw an income from it you should have a much higher number of buy-ins behind you so you never have to be worried about drawing an income while on a downswing.
I hope this gives you a little more to think about before developing your Bankroll management strategy, because in the end it's dependent on what you're looking to get out of it!
