How do you know if there is a fish in the table?

If I play $5/$10 live, I am certain there is a fish at the table.

Unfortunately, it's me.

Hahaha, at least you got some self awareness to know your weekness. I myself wonder if I'm not the fish in some tables.

I guess this is the first step to no longer be the fish, something fish themselves have difficult to admit they are.

It's usually easy to spot the sucker, you watch the game play for a while, make notes on their hand ranges and betting habits, once you have them profiled usually as a LAG or passive call station (ATMs), isolate, trap them and bet for value, then take the poor devil to the cleaners.
oooh it's that easy is it??? PLEASE come sit at my table...and don't stop rebuying...I love the money....

Don't forget some experienced players use the 'False Advertising' strategy, showing down a few dodgy calls with bad cards, make a few dodgy bets and get rumbled on purpose, then tighten up and go for the jugular with lethal hands, a deceptive game plan that works, i'm thinking this is probably similar to how @Rational Madman plays by mixing it up, they can confuse and confound you, so not all obv fish will be simple prey, just stay alert at the table and make sure you play solid poker... know your enemy...a true fish will become apparent when you start face palming at his/her outrageous plays, sooner or later they will stack off, you just hope it's you who has the hand that takes them down.

They raise mediocre than see who calls and watches if the other person raised them.

That type of fish players are easy to identify because they normally play all hands ... pretend to win all hands without impoting which cards they have .... they play 'Bingo' ... they play a lot all in without any sense ...!

They are in every hand

You're in Fort Wayne? I was there for six weeks a few years ago, and played in an incredibly juicy regularly scheduled charity game at some VFW or Shriners mini-casino. There was certainly a fish in almost every hand at that place.
