How to get better at poker than a newbie?

Im new to online poker so im not great but want to get better but can only afford freerolls but how hard is to win money with no many players

First of all, Poker tournaments have a high variance, so even the best players won't be ITM in every tournament.

Take a CC course, if you do not have any other base. (And even if you have it will not be superfluous) Play carefully, understand your game. Success is sure to come.
