Hello, I have been playing poker for about 4 years, I played mostly in the red with beer, but now I have decided to play professionally. I used to be a specialist in paying for aces)). Now I want to be a poker genius...

It takes a lot of patience, studying and hard work so don't expect to just drop the beer and start winning hehe. Based to you saying that you are playing for 4 years already I'd guess you have the grasp on the basics. I'd still suggest you to take a course or two and look into removing the bad habits you might have accumulated over past few years.

So you've already done the right thing by putting beer aside and deciding to play without it, you've already taken one right step in poker:) you should learn to take our forum courses for 30 days after which you will be able to learn and understand poker even better, and there are also poker coaches and schools where I recommend that you enroll and study professionally, if you want to do it and you can do it for free

This ^ is what the good players (& poker geniuses) want you to think. Also, the very nature of the game will have you believing a statement such as you've written here.

Have you ever listened to the thought process of a VERY good player? When I do, it reminds me that I have a very long way to go.

Of course, you have to study and practice, but poker isn't like other sports/games where it's enough to be just a little better than your opponents.

Because of the rake, you have to be a lot better. And in today's poker climate that is no easy task. Especially not online.

So the money comes more from big mistakes your opponents make than you playing GTO-perfect.

Maybe specialize in some other game than hold'em since a lot of people can play it at least decent.

The easiest way is to find a game you can beat in Live poker. Preferably a private game with rich people who don't mind losing if they can get some fun. But without connections, being a celebrity, or having a super charming personality those games are hard to get into.
