Getting hit on the river is a practice that is constantly practiced. You need to learn to control emotions. Hire a coach, he will be able to correct your game and tell you about your mistakes. Don't lose your skid in the first tournament you enter for money. Then everything will be fine.

If you want thoughts on losing on the river to one or two outer, be assured that it happens to everybody. But if you are looking for someone to agree with you on the fact that PS or any other site are rigged, then be assured that only "fish" would. The simple reason being that those people are making tons of money consistently. So why would they favor a player over another. Poker is a brutal game. Some people are cut for its ups and downs and some are not...

This is a common thing, and such distributions have happened to everyone. Don't get hung up on failures, analyze your game and move on.

To become a good poker player, you need to constantly work on your game, analyze the actions of your opponents, develop and grow on yourself every day as a pro poker player.

To become the best you need to learn from the best, which means a lot of theory and a lot of practice. In addition, you need to read your opponents' hands well and quickly calculate the pot odds and your chances of winning, as in online poker too little time is given to making a decision. good luck :deal:

Don't worry about losing on the river.
Become a winning player with an advantageous card on the turn.

If you're a losing player then you have to play less and study more. Its that simple. Less play, more study. Most of the situations that folks get themselves into trouble with can be avoided by working on your starting hand knowledge.

Even when you figure out what hands to play and from what seat there are going to situations where you still can't play certain hands in certain situations. You gotta keep studying.

It's not really the game being manipulated. You are the one being manipulated. And by your own EGO. Look... I'm not offending you! As already said here in the topic, Poker is a brutal game. You need mastery and strategy more than premium hands preflop to win. And this is where our EGO sabotages us:

- EGO makes us forget that there are other players with two cards in their hands to play with. If we have a premium or very strong hand, we think we are invincible on that hand and keep calling even though the flop and turn are screaming for us to get away.

- EGO makes us despise other players' cards. Guy! If villain is putting money into the pot he is far more likely to have a good play than he is bluffing.

- EGO makes us go All-in pre-flop. You see, I have nothing against going all-in at any stage of the game. But All-in pre-flop is lottery. You can lose. Calling all-in post-flop is risky. The guy has two cards in his hand too brother. That A6s isn't that good if there's only one A on the board.

Don't waste your time thinking about how the rooms manipulate the game to take money from you. Spend your time studying Poker and identifying and working on your strengths and weaknesses.
Then you will see that the rooms have started to ''manipulate'' the game for you to win!

As in all poker , now you have to study a lot, consult a lot and watch a lot of other peoples games. I think it is specially true online.

It's all about flop percentages. How many times do you call the big blind. Keep that number very low. If you do that you can play two tables or more if you can handle it without calling marginal hands by getting bored.
