You should not always check on the flop, but you should not always bet on the flop either, the most important thing is to have a good balance, and be sure with what intention you make the move, if you are not the aggressor for example, you must pay a bet depending on the size of the bet only if you have at least a pair, or a decent draw, you must have in your range, check call, check raise, and check fold, so that you can have a well-balanced game, it is not about always check or always bet on the flop.!!

Checking the flop is a standard play to get an opponent to bet into your made hand, usually a set or some kind of nice draw like an open ender or nut-flush.

you need to know why you're checking because you can knock out a lot of hands with a bet that are strong sometimes you need a flop bet sometimes you don't need to place a bet at all and it will be pointless. You need to be able to think why you're betting to knock your hand out of the pair or your bet is protection

Depends on how many people go to the flop and board texture on the flop. Then you weigh the risk to reward and go from there but all that takes awhile to develop.

If you raised with Ace King, aren't you supposed to make a continuation bet?

Checking flops is a viable strategy and has many uses- trap- pot control- get information multiway- get value from weaker hands that will fold flop but not turn or river etc etc

It all depends on your hand and your opponents and what position you are in.
The more you play poker the more you lean when to check or fold the flop and you
just get a feeling which is right but of course you cannot be right all the time. Just practice.

Depends who called, how many players are in the hand, how big your raise was, effective stack, board texture and whether it is compatible with your hand or not, etc. etc. it's never supposed to be simple.

Better to bet and make the draws pay, even if you have a made hand. Check the nut flush and the guy with 2 pair will check behind you.

It is bad to gamble with money that is important to you, that is, with money that you cannot afford to spend. If you check on the flop, it does not mean that you are obliged to call later in response to your opponent's all-in :)
