I think you answered your own question.
If you take 83 from your hand, can you take three cards from the board to make a straight?
No. Your best hand is JJ876.

So if i have JJ83 then JJ876 is a straight? What about the 8's as a pair?

What are you saying?? You didn't answer my question. Or i didn't understand.. How is JJ876 my best hand??

If i have KK99 in hand and 876 come on the board do i have a straight in Omaha?

you dont have a straight, cuz you need a 5card combination to achieve it. youre still missin out either 10 or 5 there.

Sorry, I made a silly mistake. :(

JJ765, not JJ876, is your best five-card hand. The JJ from your pocket cards and then the highest three cards remaining on the board.

There is no way to take two cards from your hand and three from the board to form a straight.

:dito:

even if the board is 876 5/T, you still had to use 2 of your cards

you have straight on 876 board when you have KK9T

in Omaha you use exactly two of your cards and three on the table, no more no less. You do not have a street, !!

You can not be direct, in Omaha you use two of your cards and three from the table.

Omaha I guess. So no, you don't have a straight.

You need to use 2 and only 2 cards from your hand and 3 and only 3 from the board to make the best 5 cards hand possible.

If playing Omaha Hi/Lo the 2 cards that you pick from your hand and the 3 from the board for your high hand can be different from the ones you pick for your low hand.

Hope it makes sense ;)

PS: Do not create 50 different topics for each straight question you have, make 1 post and ask there, its easier to help you and follow the topic.

For a start, you are missing one "board" card. Must be five cards.

If i have JJ83 in my hand do i have a straight if 7654 comes on the board because i need 4 cards from the board and Omaha rule says that you need 3 cards from the board
No. You have one pair (JJ).

So if i have JJ83 then JJ876 is a straight? What about the 8's as a pair?
Again you have only one pair (JJ). As other members have pointed out, only two cards are selected from your hand.

If i have KK99 in hand and 876 come on the board do i have a straight in Omaha?
No. You have one pair (KK).

If i have JJ88 and 7654 come on the board do i have a straight?
No. You have one pair (JJ).

Best you click on the strategy articles above and check out the Omaha rules. Also I would not play for money anytime soon. Omaha can be a vicious game for the inexperienced.
