My answer will be the same as in thread about lost motivation
More alcohol, bro! And the game become interesting again )
Could you please share this story?I agree with others - don't play while tilted and get your mind off it. Try watching youtube videos of 'bad beats' and know it's part of the game. As bad as you think your bad beat was I think it is safe to assume there are those who lost X times more and in more sicking fashion.
Till this day, I think I have the worst online bad beat story that trumps everyones.
You mean I'm not the only one this happens to?we all know this one don't we?
there is an all in you are way ahead of them they hav like 1 or two outs but still somehow they manage to win the pot. any advice on how to remain calm?
kind regards
gilian
Pros usually play many tables simultaneously and don't care about bad beats... While they are losing with AA to AQ on one table, they may have hit the flop with 78s on another table. Look at it from another perspective: if you are playing right, you will lose more with the best hand pre or post flop than the ones playing wrong, simply because you won't be playing wrong hands with negative expected value, and bad players will. If you are winning those kind of hands it is you who are playing incorrectly. Regards
I too play multiple cash tables. The nice thing about that is you don't have time to make decisions about iffy hands - you just throw them in the muck and only play the better hands. It's really quite rewarding. If you think about it, those iffy hands hit AND end up making you money maybe once in a couple of hundred times. Most often you catch some kind of crappy hand on the flop that just ends up costing you even more money. Thems not good odds at all.
