you were 7bb and he had 83, this is how you fatten up when almost dead players are trying to double up, most of the time they don't have AK, and you're flipping 40ish% anyways.

Also, if you have AA or KK, he is only a 2:1 underdog. At the point action reaches the villain, there is 62.7K in the pot, you are All In, there is one limper, and it will cost villain 35.1K to call. He is therefore getting 1.79 to 1 pot odds to call (62.7K to 35.1K) or about his realistic odds of winning the hand. If the limper folds (as he is likely to), the villain now has the chance to knock you out seeing all five of the board cards, getting the right odds.

Did you not want someone with a hand inferior to yours to call?

That happens to me a lot in that situation. When I'm all in with AK there's never an ace or king in the deck..

why he call with 97s?
I can't understand.

Nothing is normal.
You have less than 10 big blinds and most hands would be reasonable to go all-in - now have AK in a situation smaller than 10 big blind is a dream- I would all-in this situation with 22+ A2s + A5o + 9T + . You have to understand these things, otherwise you will always play without knowing what you are doing. See articles on how to play by the amount of blinds in the stack, as there are nannas to play depending on the amount of blinds ex: 40bb + 30bb 20bb. 10bb is usually allin with a very wide hand depending on the situation. Good luck

With the pot size and the chip stacks you 100% have to call with any low suited connectors. Great pot odds for more than likely a 60-40 flip.

Because he could. You was so short stacked that it was nothing for him to call you. And maybe he loves to play those cards and they were suited and all ends uo to an easy call.
