Hello everyone,

Can someone please explain me how to use fold equity in practice?

Let's say I'm on SB and I'm trying to steal BB for 2bb. BB folds vs stealing from SB 45% of the time. Fold equity is 50% - 1,5bb/3bb. How do I determine what range I can steal with against the BB?

Thank you very much.

It all depends on how many players are left at the table, how many have made a limp or call, for a rank of just you and BB any card is playable depending on your stack, if your stack is greater than 11BB or lower than BB there is a rank, if it is less than 5 to 3 BB the rank is higher. It's all in practice. I remind you in your post that you asked for help study the ranges of hands, there are like 5 or more tables referring to that range and remember that pokerstars, for me, the card distribution system is different from other poker rooms (in my perspective).
