What rules of thumb do you use to either fast play, or slow play?

differences between Single versus 3bet pots?

Have you ever folded this hand on turn/river?

It depends on the board texture. If you have quads on a board like QQ2 rainbow, then its very difficult for your opponent to have anything, they can play a big pot with. Especially if the preflop action makes it unlikely, they have AA or KK. But on a board like QTT 2-tone, they can easily have top pair or some kind of draw, and then there is much less reason to slowplay.

If you raise preflop then good to continue the raise after flop, but a pair on the flop forces the villains to be carefully. I usually check on flop to see how villain will behave. If he raise, I call until river, on the river if he raise again you can easily raise for more money, but it depends on the positions.

They is a flop I usually try to slow play. Have to hope they hit something or try to steal the pot
