I have been reading the CardsChat course, but I couldn't figure out how I would know the amount of equity in my hand. Could someone solve the problem for me? Thanks.

You could download the free software Equilab and it will tell you.

When it comes to in-game analysis, there's no exact method in a lot of spots. For example, if you're in a multi-way pot with 88 on a flop of K T 3, you would have to put your opponents on ranges and then do a complex calculation to determine your equity.

So instead, the key thing for now is just that you understand the concepts. Later in the course we show how to calculate important equities in many situations like when you're drawing.

Hope that helps + good luck with the course!
