In Texas Holdem each player uses the best 5 cards of both the community board and the hole cards.

Since the board has two higher pairs than 2s, meaning 9s and 7s, the kicker comes into play where Ace is the highest.

So both players have 9977A as best hand and darksire has 99773, so both of his hole cards are not used to make the best hand.

There's no 3 pair hand in holdem as it'd require 6 cards and only 5 are used.

The problem with 22 is counterfeiting. Happens all the time. That why 22 is a double edge sword.

But the board gave everyone the same two pair (fives and sevens) but your opponents have the ace as a kicker
