Tilt takes a much more different form for me now. I used to get angry and frustrated whenever I lost a big hand or if the "donks" lucked out on me. However, when I started taking the game more seriously and analysing the game, I started to realise that often I was the donk; betting when I should be checking, betting too small and giving the draws a good price to call and over estimating how far ahead I was are just a few mistakes I was making.
When you recognise that you weren't getting as unlucky as you thought, or that you weren't outplaying your opponents, you start to re-evaluate situations. I am by no means now the perfect player, but I'm much happier knowing that I played well and got my chips in good and actually in the long run, it just doesn't matter whether I win or lose that specific hand.
