I keep notes on my ring game opponents. I also like to keep track of what stakes we are playing at.

havent done this, why would you?

Not a lot of point, I only play tournaments. For the next two weeks I'm only playing freerolls. I assume most of my opponents play like lunatics. Many of them do.

Some I do, usually at the table I'm trying to observe a lot... mainly players who play almost all hands and those who play almost none. these are cold.

I have been starting to take notes lately. I never did for years but why not take advantage of taking notes. It will definitely help down the road I am sure having that info to look at.

I don't take notes for several reasons.
1. I don't play often enough.
2. I don't think it's worth making a note on someone for 1 or 2 hands.
3. Making a note could influence the way you play a hand and always give someone to much or little respect and they can take advantage of that.

I only take notes on players that I meet frequently at the tables and that I already have a good hand history to analyze. The others I try to observe how they are playing and try to adapt.

I am constantly doing this , a note can help you in future hands against a player , besides , while writing notes the waiting time at the table is reduced

Yes, I keep notes but am trying to learn to make them more useful than in the past. But, I don't make every single decision based on a few notes. I mostly play tourneys, so there are some players that I see over and over, but many that are just once in a while - so you can't be certain of the latter as there is little data. However, the ones I see more regularly are more helpful, of course the better players mix it up anyway, so you still have to pay attention to other aspects as well.

I try to, but I don't do that oftenly, just when I get some weird play a couple of time. It should be a habit to be able to do, because I just don't think about doing it while playing.

Hi friend.

Since I started doing that, it has favored me in many matchups.

Hello. I make notes on how often opponents make an open-raise and what cards they have on showdown. After 10-20 hands, this allows you to identify the most aggressive player and the most calm. And as a consequence, adjust your ranges with which you play with this or that player.

It is very important to watch all the players.
A lot can be achieved that way.
I remember best those players who took the most chips from me. I remember them even better than those to whom I did the same.
