Dealt a Pair?

Been lucky to have been dealt pocket pairs? The odds of this happening are 17/1, and are the same odds as the other players having one.. The only compensation is that the fewer the players, the less chance that anybody else has a pair. The odds of getting a specific pair, eg Aces, or any other specific pair are 221/1.

Pairs are a blessing in NLH.

Actually stats show that if you have a pair, it makes it more likely for at least another person to have a different pair. And if you're on Stars, good luck figuring it out.

I think these odds are not useful. for me personally, such odds do not affect my game.

Hello, sisi I have linked a pair when the cards were dealt. I particularly like 9-9 and 7-7, since in many cases I have linked a monster later. Also the q-q has brought me many benefits. And on the contrary, in a lot of hands with A-A I have lost in front of very trashy hands. Regards!
