Hello,
I am new to poker (literally started before 2 weeks)
I already lost big amount of money so I am searching for quality content to read or watch so I can improve my thinking about the game and the players. And since in Internet there is a bunch of shitposting can you send me stuff that maybe helped you, maybe even in this forum. Thank you!

The CC forum has some good strategy articles (in the strategy articles tab), especially for newer players that would be really beneficial to you. If that isn't enough for you, there's tons of legitimate training sites/articles/videos etc that you just have dig around and find. If you go on youtube and search someone like James Sweeney you'll get a ton of strategy content on there too. Best of luck to you!

I would search YouTube videos and try to find the same game that you want to play. Say "Americas Card Room 5 on demand" or "PokerStars 4nl" in the search. This will get you hits on the same game or similar games. Then watch a few (hopefully with commentary).

Some videos are going to be hey look at me, I won. Some are going to try to teach you. Start at the teaching ones. Look at their channel and the channels they link to. You will probably find other channels that will help you along the way.

I think the number one error new players make, especially if they dump a lot of money early, is NOT FOLDING ENOUGH. Profitable poker is a lot of folding and waiting. That never sunk in for me until I watched a 3 hour tournament with commentary...wow this guy folds a TON. Maybe I should fold more.

If you are completely new, play with play money instead while learning, get a grip of the game before you go back to cash tables

Nobody wants to lose a big amount of money but what games were you playing and what games do you want to play? Tournaments ?

Good luck !

Thanks to all suggestions I'll try my best. I play in poker stars. To Poker_Mike I like playing tournaments a lot and I won some tournaments like Women NLHE 0,55 and 5-6 satellites but my bankroll wasn't big enough to play safely and I ended up with like 0,50 cent. I decided to play spin and go and I was crushing the tables with more tight players who fold a lot but when I came to more complicated players I found it pretty hard to manage my play against them. I really want to improve that part of my play.

The Strategy articles here at CardsChat are pretty solid and up to date. You can find them on the top left corner - button "Strategy Articles".
Those on PS School are also worth to read, and if about the video content - I am following Protential (CC member Poker Pro - Ryan Laplante): https://www.cardschat.com/forum/tournament-poker-59/ask-ryan-laplante-about-tournaments-353915/,
and also could recommend the free resources of Upswing Poker (Doug Polk's coaching site).

Have a nice time at CardsChat and GL at the felts :top:

Definitely use that above hand list as your guideline forever. Youll do more winning than losing overall sticking to that.
I would suggest playing only premium hands first and playing relatively tight, just until you can get thousands of hands at least, under your belt. The suggestion to play only play money or freerolls for a good many months to build experience also, is a great one. I wouldn't play for any real money early on until you build up knowledge and experience. Also, whatever poker client you play on, if it has the option (and nearly all do I think) to jot down and save notes on an individual player, then by all means utilize that. And watch everyones tendencies so you have at least a chance to read what they may be holding on a particular hand.

If you re a beginner, don t play cash game ( you ll be like a fish between sharks) . Try to play low but-in tournament 5dollars< . You can play Also in sit and go ( 1$ but-in ) . If you find yourself wining in a kind of tournament. Try to only play that. AlSO YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT . Poker isn’t casino, don t expect wining big amount of money in small period. Good luck
