Once you have cut your teeth on free online practice and know the rudiments of the game, it's time to move up and start playing in cash games. If you managed to get a few dollars from the freerolls, then you are good to go. If not you will need to deposit, which is a simple enough process. Start with low stake games and once your bankroll has increased, move up to the next level as soon as you can, then up again until you reach a game level where the other players are at the same standard as yourself. The reason to get out of the very low stake games is that at times they can be as bad as freerolls.
