OK so I have opened Skype account rogermesenseless but it will only be text for the time being, until I can sort out a microphone, and it will still be text only after the wife/daughter have gone to bed even when I do have a microphone

I am back on MSN Messenger too, but because my Hotmail account was hacked I have changed it to rogerforward at gmail dot com now

Basically this skype group is just a place where everyone can talk about whatever. You can actually create your own group if you want and name it whatever you like. So if you join the main group and decided you want to start another one for just a certain game you can and add whoever you want to it. If you are new to skype and I can explain to you how to start a group etc once you add me. my skype id is mattwomack

All of the people that want to talk strategy have not joined the group because they want it to be a specific strategy group. This group should just be a stepping stone we can branch it out and make other groups from this.

I really wish more people would talk poker with me on AIM/skype, but I don't get that anymore

Is this the best method of finding other people to join/create a group for more specified play? Is there a particular forum here where requests like this would be suitable for posting?

Although I think it sounds like a great place to join in general chat and, most likely, will give it a go once a download Skype, it seems like a round-about way to find other players of similar focus.

You can. Right click on the person's name, and select "edit".. you can put whatever you want in that box to name the person.
