The Zero to Hero challenge is, in my opinion, one of the most interesting ways to conceive the construction of a small bankroll. I'd agree with the above posters that, once you hit your first freeroll, you can move to NL2 6max and grind your way from there

From there, I believe it's personal preference whether you move to tournaments (I like to be able to afford 20 entries to the tourney before I play them) or make your way up to NL5 and further.
