im confused when i should move up
i play the .02/.04NL on partypoker the max buyin is 5 dollars
i currently have 95
what is a SAFE amount before moving up to the 10NL?
and when should i move back down?

Well that list just multiplies buyins by 20 for most levels (the chart is better). The further you go up, the tougher the games will be and you'll want more protection against possible downswings. I see some good players here go on 15+ downswings at 100nl+, that's just not going to happen at 10nl or under unless you have serious leaks/losing player.

I would think moving up at 20 buyins and moving back down at 15 would be pretty safe for 10nl, maybe a little less...but further up you might want to follow a 30/25 rule.

Lisen, if your playing no limit, the general rule is to have from 20 to 30 buyins. Depending if your a good player or not so good, you choose between these two digits which one is for you... the good players choosing the smaller amount of buyins. Now... You should stay playing at a certain table untill you get the necessary amount for the next table level... Even if you have 50 buyins for the table your playing in currently, you should wait untill the table above has a buyin that, when multiplied by at least 20, should be your bankroll.
