Against good players, you want to have a polarized range and 3-bet strong hands you're usually willing to stack off with -- possibly around 99/AQ depending on a lot of factors -- as well as hands near the bottom of your defending range such as 83s.
Versus a calling station, it's fine to only 3-bet premium hands and flat the rest of your defending range.
