I think aggressive play pays off against good players. In my opinion aggressiveness vs fish is a losing strategy

Btw I end up playing more passively when running bad.

Your poker strategy must be aggressive if you want to succeed at making money over the long term, but you must also be passive occasionally, perhaps to survive in a tournament while sitting on the small stack and waiting for the best odds by putting your chips in with a hand that you think will win ahead of preflop.
