$5 NL HE: $5 : SnG - MTT Transition

So I've been playing poker for quite some time, and have taken the past 4-6 months off due to the attempt to finish my graduate education (damn thesis...). Finding I now have more time on my hands, I decide to deposit $70 in my bodog account, the site I've been playing on for quite some time. What I am finding difficult in my poker ability is that when it comes to SnG's, I've been playing on low limit tables and have created a $50 surplus. As for the MTT's, which I've grown to LOVE playing for some reason, I'm down $30. I'm trying to stay disciplined and stick with the SnG's until I get a great enough bankroll to leisurely play some MTT's, but has anyone else find difficulty in transitioning from SnG's to MTT's or even vise versa?

I think your in the wrong section. But to answer your question there is definately a difference between the two. I recommend reading Harrington on Holdem volumes 1-3. This will give you a solid MTT foundation.
