River: (512) 3 (3 players)
Volantis5 (SB) bets 180, yakinioch (UTG) folds, Hero ???

Standard fish 38/1/0 (30), AF 1.4, 84 arms

A big raise preflop because against us fish 90/15, my hand is well against his range. I flop the odds on the flop. There is nothing to bluff on the turn. On the river, you don’t really believe in Ace, it’s not a bad situation to call

Your logic makes sense but I think you're up against at least a pair here and you're either turning your hand into a bluff with a raise (if you think a fish would fold .. it probably won't) or folding. Calling will disappoint you more often than not.

Completely agree here. Especially in the micro-stakes, we are losing to at least 2-pair. It's a fold.

If you want the conventional advice, look into blackrain79's guides. His guides are pretty good. Essentially though, you want to extract as much value as possible when you have a strong hand and don't feel bad to fold the ones that end up not getting anywhere. When you start to try bluffing microstakes fish, you can expect -EV outcomes.

I like the play up until the river including the flop float given how small his sizing is. Against a passive player, I'd usually just give up at the river but it's close since you're getting almost 3:1 odds and beat a busted draw. Definitely not a big mistake to call and make him show :)

I fold here. You are not even beating some of his bluffs like KX of clubs. As for his value I can certainly see a fish play a 3 or some pocket pair this way. A 3 is a mandatory value bet on the river, since nobody ever has an ace, when it essentially gets checked through on two streets. And even a pocket pair can reasonably assume, its good, and bet for thin value against K high or a worse pocket pair.
