pokerstars Zoom, Hold'em No Limit - $0.01/$0.02 - 6 players

UTG: $3.83 (192 bb)
MP: $2.01 (101 bb)
CO (Hero): $3.66 (183 bb)
BU: $5.13 (257 bb)
SB: $3.18 (159 bb)
BB: $2.15 (108 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.03) Hero is CO with J T
2 players fold, Hero raises to $0.05, BTN 3-bets to $0.19, SB calls $0.18, 1 fold, Hero ?

I find myself often in these situations and I'm wondering if this would be a call. What do you think? And if this is a call, how far would the range be?

I think it's a fold, given that you don't show any info about Villain. In NL2, most villains are Tight 3bettors.

I think it's worth a call.
JTs should be part of your defend range in the CO

You're deep enough to call there. You'll have relative post flop position if the BTN bets as well.

Easy call. Hero pays $0.14 for a chance to win $0.45. JTs is about 30/70 against a 3-bet range and calling rang. There will $0.59 in the pot with $3.47 behind, a near perfect stack to pot ratio. In play, Hero will fold 3/4s of the time, but will be paid on lots of boards.

For example 2 clubs, checked to BT expecting a 1/2 pot C-bet. If the SB calls Hero can shove. putting his opponents to the test with over 35% equity. Even if SB folds, Hero will be faced with a ~$0.90 pot into which a he can bet 1/2 his stack into 50% equity.

I think you want to call this one. Deep stacks, and you'll get to see how SB acts after the anticipated cbet. J 10 suited is going to hit a lot of flops very hard.

Thank you for sharing.
The problem with a call is how good are u post flop? You are in the middle between a 3bet BTN and a SB that called a 3bet knowing that you could still 4bet

Imagine this very possible scenario.
BTN :ad4: :ah4: SB :ac4: :kc4:

flop :jh4: :4c4: :2c4:

How do you play that flop well?

Turn :9c4:

How do you not lose a big pot here? If not lose a big pot do you fold if any one bluffs the :ac4:

Do you just call hoping you are best?

Most of the advice about low stakes 3bet pots is heads-up advice. The reason is the difficulty factor in 3 way pots.

:)

I agree with what was said, but when you play J10 into a multiway 3-bet pot, you are playing it for its nut-potential. This isnt the spot to call down 3 streets to catch a bluff with one pair weak kicker. J 4 2 is a good example of a flop you are going to fold a lot of the time. The flops you want to continue on are something like Q94 with backdoor flush equity.

So many assumptions.
SB fish. if btn is agro it might be 4bet. if btn is tight enough it`s just call.
SB can catch with hard range so it`s fold.

If this was heads up I would 100% take a flop, but being out of position to a 3-bet and a cold call, I would probably fold.

if your opponents 3 bet range very tight, easy fold.

but it is a real speculative hand, if you have a tight image on the table.

worst part is zoom poker is a weird type of poker. you dont have info. many players play aggro.

What do we know about the villain? I mean where does he live, what's his job, does he like butterflies or what? Then we can analyze his play by going back to his childhood memories.
