Typical Live Poker Rake

What is a typical rake that you find in live poker? I found a casino with 10% rake. That seems high to me no? I'm used to playing online with 5% rake.

10 percent does seem high, especially on bigger pots.

was there a cap? most rooms i have played at cap the rake at $5. now on tourneys ive seen from 15% to 30% buy in cost.
