With us in the netherlands, poker is less popular than ten years ago.

There are often only tournaments to be found in the casino. A few years ago we often played small tournaments in the bars or in the sports canteens. I think that is very unfortunate, i enjoyed playing small tournaments of about € 250 on weekends.

How is that in your country? Is live poker still hot there?

Here in Bulgaria, there are not many places where you can play live poker tournaments, but we have one casino - one of the most popular in the capital in Sofia, which provides a poker tournament every Friday and Saturday, which is not so bad. It is with re-buy, but it is happening only if there are more players to participate in.

Many people here in Bulgaria prefer to play other things in casino than playing poker. I have known a lot of people in Bulgaria, which prefer to play online poker than live poker. You can see in pokerstars for example that there are a lot of Bulgarian players online, who are playing there. The live poker in Bulgaria is always on low level. Most of the people playing live poker in Bulgaria are some rich guys, who are wondering where to put their money and they are playing so stupid that it is annoying to play against them. Also the conversations during the plays on the tables are not cool. In conclusion, it is not the best idea to play live poker in Bulgaria :D

In my country, gambling is not very popular, there are casinos in some cities where you can play poker, but it's less than it used to be.

unfortunately the game of chance as poker is considered in my country is not legal if you do not have a permit, but outside of that and clandestine games are excellent to carry out and put into practice all the methods and resources to win your rival

The situation is the same in our country. Because of the epidemic, every poker club has only a few games to participate in.

I am from Toronto, canada. There is a large casino around 90 minutes away in Niagara Falls. The poker room was closed a few years ago because it does not make as much money for the casino as blackjack, craps or slots. Yes, they still have poker down the street in another casino, but not in the biggest casino.

So basically everyone in Canada plays online?

No, not necessarily. There are two casinos in Niagara Falls; one still has poker. Another casino 90 minutes in a different direction also still has poker. Montreal and Vancouver still have poker...it was just Fallsview Casino decided to close the poker room in favour of more slots and high roller table games, like blackjack and baccarat.

I'm from Belarus. I live in the capital. In the city of Minsk.
In my country there is an annual series called - Belorussian Poker Tour.
There are also several clubs that play cash. In principle, if there is a desire, then it is quite possible to find where to play and just relax. :):):D

I'm from brazil and here we have some poker places where we can play tournaments (poker tournaments here are legalized), but usually only in the big cities. I don't live in a big city here, so, my only option to play poker is online :(

Before covid19- poker was okay in my region. Not dead but not super popular but you could always find a game to play. I live within a hour drive or 10 or some casinos.

Here in Venezuela, the communist government banned casinos as well as most of the good things. So the only way to play is against your friends at someone's house

casinos are currently closed in Paraguay since the situation of COVID-19 began, and there are still no rumors about a reopening, so I think casinos will no longer be available this year, as well as discos and other places where there is a large influx of people
