I played only 1 live tournament for 15 years of playing poker ))
It was the first poker federation tournament in our city. The buy-in was symbolic, somewhere around $20-$25. Before the tournament, i read a book by Mike Caro and even applied one of the tricks in the tournament - bluffing with a trembling hand when put all-in ))
But since i had no experience playing live, i still made a silly mistake with a pair of 1010, just calling a big raise when i needed to put all-in. In the end, i had to fold my hand on the flop, left with a piece of the stack. I was bluffing again, but this bluff was no longer successful ))
But it was fun. And it was interesting to watch the final table, especially heads-up.

Hi, I play at Foxwoods and Encore Boston Harbor. Two locations that play totally different. I did have a profit for 2019 , but I need to make a bigger profit in 2020. Some sessions gets frustrating , when you are no where near the flop where others hit. etc

Well you bring me back to two years ago!
I just got married, and went with my wife to a honeymoon to an hotel resort casino,
I went to the casino at the midnight, and played a tournament, I played for only 10-15 mins lol
I then went and played roulette, I remember i choosed 14, my marriage date, and the number on roulette show 14, I remember i started with $20 and end up going back to the hotel with $300.
It was a good night lol

I would say that I prefer live poker, because that means I'm on vacation. I have played several times at the Encore/Wynn in Las Vegas. An absolutely beautiful hotel and casino. Is the Encore Boston Harbor equally elegant ?

It is way different than playing online. The game is much slower which is actually a good thing. Learning to get reads on people playing your table is the hardest part but also the most important. I play my best poker live as I feel I am way more careful with my money as playing online just don't feel as real. Its more like playing a video game, and the feeling is different. I have never played in a huge buy in online that might make the feeling much different for me.
