I never played in live poker, I think that when I go, I will lose a lot, does anyone give any suggestions before playing live?

If you are afraid of losing a lot of money, I suggest trying to play limit to start. Gives you a chance to get used to it.
If you usually play low stakes online, live poker is basically the same thing, except low stakes are $1/$2 instead of 1c/2c.
Also just have fun with it!

I was the opposite, I began poker with live homegames and only then tried online (I still much prefer live games though). Probably the biggest difference is the presence of tells and the physical presence of players at the table versus staring at a computer screen. If it makes you feel better though, most micro stakes players barely know (or conceal) any tells. Plus, lots of live players think that online players are all really good because they play online; truth is that not all online players are good, but that can be our secret ;)

The most important advice is to play on the bankroll. This is for short. If completely, then this will be the whole article).

Do not tell the table it is your first time! lol

If you do have questions - the dealer is always there to answer.

Make sure it is the dealer that knows what you want to do - check bet raise and how much.

It might be best to always announce your bet size before you put chips out - otherwise you could be string betting. Be clear to the dealer.

Good luck !

When you are at the table, behave calmly and confidently. Do not give out your cards with your excitement. Follow the behavior of the players.

I've never played live poker either. And I think that to fully play in the casino, you need not chase the result, but play at the minimum rates, gradually getting used to the differences with the online game

it's not so haevy

You have to play like tournaments.

It's more funny and interesstin like online.
You have to do this! It's very nice and you
get more reaktion from the other players-.

I'm not sure why you feel like you would lose a lot just because it's live, but either way, you should probably start at the lowest limit of whatever game you already play, so you can give yourself a chance to develop a feel for live play, and get comfortable with it, and then decide are you in the right game, or should you try moving up. There will be some things that will take some adjusting to, a lot of which were just covered in a thread entitled "Poker Etiquette". Check that out too. Good luck.
