Mindblowing taxes

Hi,

God bless you in advance for your help! I hope it's not spam but I tried to find out this on the web but without success.

I have just get back to playing poker for a long break - mainly online on pokerstars right now. I live in germany but it's not my country of origin. I fill my personal information a long time ago (before break) on Pokerstars (address etc) from my origin country. Right now I'm confused about:

- should I change my personal information to a new German address etc?
- where I should pay taxes from winnings if I play online? Germany or origin country?

If you have residence permit in Germany than you should your German address I guess. And if the answer to your first question is "Yes" (it means you should also have tax identification number) then you should pay taxes in Germany

I got my permit, so I think is good thinking about it indeed. Thank you :top:
