So my question is - have you ever used a VPN for gambling online / which one is the best? Should be mentioned that I invested some time in reading reviews of VPNs and the most recommended are NordVPN (price is ~ 2.5$/month with a discount) and ExpressVPN (price is ~ 7$/month).

Sure you can use a VPN to pretend you are from a different country. But you don't have an address in the country you are pretending to be in, you can not pass verification and even if they don't ask for any of that, are you going to be able to withdraw without any problems?

It just sounds like you are just committing fraud - don't do it.

You will need to send a photo of you holding your ID with your address on it, on most of the sites, you'll also be needing to copy bills with your name on them and send them to....

I have used express VPN which works well. Some sites have terminated their connection though until I explained why I was using a VPN which was perfectly legit in my case and I can play from the country I am in. I would not use it to circumvent countries gambling laws.

Do not create unnecessary problems for yourself. You will not be able to withdraw earned money. You will be asked for ID and registration in this country.

It's pretty common if not a rule at many sites to verify identification and the account is locked until you can manage to do that so you will lose any funds on the account.

VPN can only be used on temporary situations like travel. If it is illegal in your country, you can't play money unfortunately

Gordon Vayo won a big tournament on pokerstars only to see the withdrawal refused because he had used a VPN and pretended he was in canada. Then he couldn't provide evidence that he was in Canada. Either way, you might be able to play but if you win big you won't be able to withdraw. Do what S. Deeb does, drive to Canada, spend a few days there for specific tournaments.

listen to the others advice! mine is the same. Don't do it! It's already difficult to win, don't make it impossible to withdrawal. Much more worth it to travel to an allowed location for a certain period of time and know for sure you will be safe. Or to not attempt it at all in order to save your time and avoid stress

I use your mentioned vpn - NordVPN while traveling/working abroad. Not to brag but everything works great. I've chosen this vpn, because of it's strong security, fast and reliable service and very good price. However, I haven't tried any others, so I can't objectively compare, but it seems like a high level of privacy and the speeds are acceptable for me. Sure, you have to weight all the pros and cons before gambling or betting with VPN, but I guess that good encryption is a key - no casino can detect where you are at. :icon_smur

I have just started playing again after 2 years since laws were introduced to my country basically banning online poker. Using a VPN has given me back a lot of enjoyment and as I only play micro stakes I'm not concerned about withdrawing. I was very skeptical, at first, but after some research I decided to try a VPN and I'm very glad I did :)
