Triton will host the most expensive tournament in the history of poker in London. The Triton Super High Roller Series London and a million-pound Main Event will take place on August 1st! with the exchange rate, it will cost $ 1.27 million to participate in this event in London. by 2018 he had only 27 participants for a Prizepool $ 24,840,000.

if you had enough money on your banckroll. Do you want to participate or do you prefer to play this money with other events?

This is quite right. If you have "enough" money in bankroll including brm which is multiple buy ins - yes why not but in reality not everyone can come up or has net assets of 1.27 million. if i did have many many times over and this is not a significant part of my net worth, i will. for everything else i´d look for smaller buy in tournaments.

If I had enough money to enter this tournament, I wouldn’t be playing poker. I’d be enjoying many other things that this amount could buy. Crazy that there are people in the world where this buy in is just a small amount of what they have and think nothing of losing it.

If I had 1.27 to spent in a tournament without getting in trouble, of course I'll participate in one tournament like that.

Most of the players will be sponsored and have shares. If you won 50+ millions playing poker and have such bankroll at the moment, would you invest 2% of your bankroll to such tourney? I belive not. I think that 90% of players there will invest like 100-200K of their personal money, not more.

Actually it will be a promo tourney and it's going to be a game for the title, "Best of the Best" or something like that

What will it look like?
It will be 20-30 player tourney with like 4-6 paid.
Obviously not a great value

Invest 1million for a chance to win 10 millions. = x10 times.

Compare it with Sunday Million:

Invest $109 for a chance to win 100K = x1000 times.

In absolute numbers obviously it's huge. But actually it's much better to spend a million for many lower buy-in tourneys and trips to euro/us/carribean/australian events.

If I had 1 a million to spare, I would use it to travel around the world and play poker at the same time.

It will be interesting to follow the broadcast of this tournament. If it's on the air.

Yeap. Great analogy.

I would not be surprised if a good chunk of that prizepool is product of crime like in the movie.

Even if you are a billionaire, spending 1 million dollars to play poker is dumb.

All professional players in those high rollers are staked by investors, they are not playing their own money.
