The definition of gambling according to "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia" is:
is the wagering (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/wager#Verb) of money (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money) or something of material value (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Value_%28economics%29) (referred to as "the stakes") on an event (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Event_%28probability_theory%29) with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning additional money and/or material goods.
You have to bet something in value to be called gambling.
But according to merriam webster dictoinary:
Gamble is to "to play a game for money or property"
I think the second definition is wrong.
Otherwise all those free enter for a drawing for something in value would be gambling.
