interesting , but the artical doesnt really give us any reason why he would be willing to give up 50million when he isnt charged with anything. strange

That's exactly why he's handed over $50m.

So with both the $731m and $50m deal, all civil claims by the DOJ are settled in full and no civil actions can be taken against Pokerstars or anyone who worked for Pokerstars in regards to this matter.

Now, will the indictment of Isai Scheinberg still get in the way of Pokerstars returning or is that completely separate? Does he have nothing to do with Pokerstars now?

Sheesh that's a ton of cash. But I'm sure he has money still. But he would have double it if he let's US players play

Probably not worth it.

After currency exchanges and paying processors (extra because its illegal). Processors just stealing the money is a possibility. (you going to call the cops when a drug dealer doesn't give you weed after you paid him?) US banks declining credit card deposits (very likely). Foreign checks at US banks are also a nightmare. Bouncing and outrageous fees, long fund holding times. Western Union and Money Gram blacklisting players and processors.

Paying extra support to deal with all these headaches.

*This next part is speculation*
The above may be why Lock poker is having issues.
*End speculation*

Pokerstars had a system that was easy and profitable and that was taken away.

Mark? Is that Isai's brother or did he change his name?
