As restrictions are lifted, common sense tells us there will be a rise in the number of cases. Vegas being a prime destination for degenerate gamblers, common sense would again tell us to expect less, make that much less, appropriate behavior than from the general public, resulting in even more cases. What to do, blame bad Orange man, get out the fiddle, rosin up the bow & party on.

This is really sad to hear. The hope was that the virus wouldn't spread in the Summer, but I think this is proving that we have much to learn about how it really works.

The virus does not subside based on the graph shown in the article. Confirmed cases take 2-3 weeks. Sick players can stay at the tables during this period before leaving for a 14-day quarantine.

I'm sorry but to me it doesn't make any sense reopening all these casinos having crowds inside sitting at tables close to each other. And as Arizona cases continued to rise double and triple every week, you can be certain some people from Arizona have been going over to Nevada. I live in San Diego and right now our city is full of a lot of Arizona people for the summer going back and forth. And it's quite scary because they are very often against wearing a mask taking any precautions at all....:(:(

I thought that the virus would be easier to overcome in hot places and especially in summer. but it seems that unfortunately this is not the case and that we will have to endure and survive this virus for an indefinite period.

The constant exchange in chips is what makes casinos and the people inside them vulnerable to Covid-19. I think most people are happy to practice social distancing and hygiene habits to continue going to casinos but they would have to monitor how chips are being cleaned and transferred in my opinion. Other areas of the casino like the sportsbook would not have the same issues.

Given the concentration of people, the increase in cases is logical. the recommendation is to take preventive measures if you go to casinos.

COVID Spreads By Exhaled Shedding

Just so you know BK - the primary method of infection spreading is aerosolized shedding from exhaled breath.

So - mask wearing and social distancing are really the essential weapons we all have right now.

And no - gamblers at some casinos have not been doing either.....
