Asian Poker Tour returning to Vietnam in November
Ho Tram, Vietnam, 24 July 2015 – Ho Tram Project Company Limited (HTP), World Gaming Group (WGG) gaming operations division World Players Entertainment (WPE) and the Asian Poker Tour (APT) today announced that Vietnam’s only integrated resort, Ho Tram Resort Casino, would host the first ever 10 day APT festival from 16 to 25 November 2015.
This exciting new addition to the Ho Tram Poker Room’s growing schedule of events follows the overwhelmingly positive response from Asia’s poker community that followed the inaugural APT Vietnam in May 2015, which was the first major international poker festival ever held in Vietnam.
President of the Ho Tram Resort Casino, Shaun McCamley, said, “I’m excited to welcome both new and returning players to Ho Tram for APT Vietnam 2. November is a wonderful time of year in Vietnam with the glorious, sunny weather perfect for relaxing on the resort’s pool deck, enjoying the 2.2 kilometre beach on our doorstep or taking in a game of golf at Bluffers at The Bluffs 2 on Friday 13 November. I’m sure the players will have a great time at our beautiful 5 star property with nearly a dozen quality restaurants and food outlets, a world class spa and breathtaking views from each of our luxuriously appointed rooms.”
Chief Executive Officer of World Gaming Group, Andrew W Scott, said, “After the phenomenal success of APT Vietnam in May, there was no question that we would bring back the Asian Poker Tour to Ho Tram for a second event in 2015. We’re delighted to be holding APT Vietnam 2 from 16 to 25 November and we look forward to the event growing in stature over the years with the APT being a regular fixture at the Ho Tram Poker Room.”
APT Vietnam 2 will feature buy-ins to suit all from as little as US$110 through to a large buy-in high roller event and everything in between.
The full schedule for APT Vietnam 2 will be released after the inaugural Vietnam Poker Cup which will be held in the Ho Tram Poker Room from 21 to 23 August 2015.
