I seem to have delveloped a problem with poker tracker. I say seem to of delveloped it, I've actually always noticed it before.

Basically I won't ever get a true reading on my ROI because there are several tournaments which show as N/A and just neevr shows any cashes and just shows buy-ins I've done and that's it so it will always be -100% ROI on select tournaments I enter no matter what. Obviously this is really annoying me and i'm never going to get a true ROI following poker tracker am I? Before anyone says "It because I've not cashed in any of the tournaments!" This isn't the case and well, even if you think that then well it's a bit of a coinincendence how all the ones that say N/A at the end all have exactly -100% ROI :p

What's the reason for this? It seems pointless tracking my tournament scores and trying to get a true long term ROI% because every time I buy into one of these tournaments I lose according to Pokertracker regardless of whether I win the tournament or cash minimum.

It's very clearing not reading something or inputting something into the data, driving me mad would love anyone who knows why this is and a way to sort it out?

Thanks!

For me, when it says N/A like that I have to go into the Tournaments menu and then manually fill in the information for those tournaments such as type, number of entries, and my position. Absolute, for example does not automatically give me my place unless I am in a SNG.

On stars, it will say N/A for tournament type while I am still in the tournament and then usually fills in afterwards. Are you going out and closing the table (or is the table being closed automatically) right away? I've found that if I do that, the final hand information isn't written to the hand history and it messes things up for PT3.

Hmm.

It varies, if I get knocked out sometimes the table will close automatically and other times not. I think it depends on weather or not the table is closed and they are moved to a different table, that's when it will "close".

When you say "Are you going out and closing the table (or is the table being closed automatically) right away? I've found that if I do that, the final hand information isn't written to the hand history and it messes things up for PT3.

Do you mean I should leave the tables still running in the back ground until it closes automatically? The reason I ask that is because If I'm playing several tables at once, it becomes a bit frustrating to have tables open you are no longer involved in as I tend to think "ok I'm doing ok I'm in 10 tournaments still" To then find out you are actually in only 5 is even more annoying lol. It seems a bit daft really too and kind of sucks.

It seems you just have to wait until the next hand is dealt before closing for it to work ok. It's like the hand history isn't written until the next hand is dealt so closing the table before then prevents the software from adding the final hand into the file and that is the hand which contains your finishing position (at least it does on stars).

When the table closes automatically, I don't know how to make it work and it's annoying because it usually doesn't tell me my place either just shuts everything down. I will have to look the next time it happens and see what the raw hand history says.

I can see where leaving a table open you aren't playing can be irritating when you have ten open altogether, but it seems that's the only option, at least for one hand after you go out.

Hope this helps!

Ok, thanks for the help. I will try leaving them open next time and see if it works, if it does then well I guess i'm going to have to deal with it lol.

Thanks again buddy!
