This thread is just to get some advice on the helpful tools and strategies to go from freeroll to profit.

What site is best to use to track your progress. Are there free sites, and what poker sites are best. Looking to track progress from a freeroll to the lowest stakes. I will only try this on one site, and see how far I can track hand history. I would like to be able to see a graph of the progress over hands played, kind of like Chris Ferguson did on Full Tilt one time.

Would also be interested in hearing or reading up on other peoples quest from the bottom!

See you all around the tables!

I am this road myself. I started with freeroll tourney, then moved on to low stakes tourneys. As I have built my bankroll, I have raised the stakes. I am up to about $230 in a few weeks. I am curious as to how it will go when I try and cash out.

I have done this on Bet Online. Now I have heard numerous horror stories about this site. Unfortunately, because of the state I live in, my options are VERY limited. This seemed to be my best bet.

When building a bankroll from scratch - find the site with the best freerolls that you've used before so you can withdraw fine. From then on, learn a game that you can bonus whore with (such as double or nothing or else) and clear bonuses.

Hold'em Manager and PokerTracker are not free, but they are probably the best software programs available for tracking one's progress in Poker.

the days of fulltilt or pokerstars is over. i'm hoping that the other sites will stay open but that's a bit optimistic on my part but oh well. i play on bcp, carbon, and bovada/bodog. they are good for the u.s. players.

there are several tools in the internet, actually the one i use is sharkscope which gives all stats you need and more, for pokerstars it works pretty good, you only need to have usd 0.3 on your pokerstars account to request the whole stats (the money will go back to you), and there you can get graphs, itm, roi, and also you can sort by buyin, fields, and some other labels you want, its very helpful to track your progress and see where are your strengths and your weakness, and by the end you will know which mtts or sngs are more suitable to you and stuffs like that

I think this can also be done via an email to support, it outlines pretty clear on the site what the process to opt in is. For ftp I think you have to join a table and comment something and your good to go, thought that was pretty neat.
