With Stars/Tilt moving out of Washington, has anyone tried playing via proxy?

I would have to assume that the pros are. Not sure if anyone here would admit to it if they were. This whole Washington thing certainly brings up another business opportunity for people to setup remote machines and allow people to play on them. With the government trying to take more control of the internet I am thinking none of these things will last very long.

Won't the poker rooms be looking at it by IP address and the registerd address of the player? If so a proxy won't help unless they register an address outside Washington but then that brings into play cash-out problems.

With poker stars if you have a Washington address you're out, period. With Full Tilt, you can reside in Washington but play on the site if you're out of the state. So the address wouldn't be a barrier in that case. IP address, not sure... it could be a laptop.

I haven't tried a proxy and don't plan to. Just playing on second tier sites instead.
