Several years ago when the Windows tracker market was limited to PokerTracker and PokerOffice, PO was somewhat of a competitor. But PT3 and then HM1 totally left it in the dust and it has never truly been competitive since. If it works for you great, but if you're going to pay anyway I don't know why you would chose it over one of the industry leaders.

You have to pay a subscription fee...piece of crap.
Huh? A lifetime license for the Hold'em/Omaha Combo version is $98 Euro? Nothing mentioned about a subscription. It's also available free to non-US players through affiliate signups (not that I would ever recommend doing so).

Damn, 2 people beat me to it already...... My reply, fwiw.....Seems like a decent enough guy but can be a bit of a smartass at times. Of course, one of those two opinions may be incorrect....which one?....which one?.....hmmmm....:p :D .

Anyway, about Poker Office....don't see why you'd spend money for it when there are better things out there at competitive prices, unless it just suits you that much more than the others.

Can't believe so many of us read that as poker orifice. Came to my senses when I read the word software.

Thought someone was about to trash him after "misreading" one of his comments.;)

Well, since its obviously "free shot at PO day" it just occurred to me that this part of my post could apply to the software, or ........:D :D :D :D .

I feel kinda 'special'.

I too thought this thread was about 'me'.... what a freak'n disappointment... it's only the stupid software... sigh :(

Well done Joe! You've obviously finally matured into a decent player.... took you long enough to come to the realization though.:p (I like playing Joe these days on the tables... he's finally good enough that I can actually play the game knowing he's actually 'thinking'... which makes it even that much easier to crush him ;) ) hee hee, Love you Joe!!! <3

PS - who the fck is Marginal?

PSS - smart man Kenzie.. smart man! fwiw, it wasn't actually until partway through this year (2012.. after all these years) that I finally found out you weren't a woman (actually had to change my player notes on ya >> weak/stationy woman player > to > weak/stationy 'nice' guy ). ;)

all in fun.
Actually did come up with my forum name based on Poker Office. lol

Hey 'eff' you! I stuck up for you the other day:confused:
It wasn't because I agreed with ya or was 'on your side' or anything.....was only cuz I didn't want you to feel too bad as you continued to hand me your chips from the blinds. :p

Certainly glad you didn't 'overthink' it! Perhaps if he'd used the word 'Tool' instead of software it may have left you guessing awhile longer??

lmao lol! i see few got "trapped" anyway, it does works quite nice for me but i guess also because of my math suuucks hard as one of the things, so the features fits me. I do have HM2 pt3 as well tho.

I got it by signed up on a site where you would then get it "free" my sub is valid to august 2013 or some, so i got like 2-3 years even tho i thought it was 1 year i was surpriced when support said my sub was valid that long.

for the multi tables players and better players it may not be the right choise of course, but for me. i can play 2 tables just, i found out. so it fits me just fine.

thanks for the replies guys :) i guess not alot have used or using it :p

Possibly :D

I do miss the chat fights between you and Joe though or am I (over) thinking of someone else?

No links to petitions or politicians in this thread?

I could get some if you would like.

Exactly my thoughts ... thought "PO" was in trouble with CC, one of the poker sites, or was under investigation by Homeland Security.

I recognized Poker Orifice's poker savy many many years ago on a competitor's poker forum (one I very seldom frequent anymore) and I was glad to see him active on CC.

I have no opinion on the PO software, but Poker Orifice is simply smart when it comes to "poker" strategy, analysis, and advice ... would love to see him play against Phil Hellmuth.

Getting back on track :)

I used Poker Office for a while when I 1st started playing online. At the time the software was bloated and slow and updates for room & HH changes were also very slow. I spent a lot of time saving HH waiting for an update and then reprocessing them. I had to update my PC to a faster one to be able to use PO while multi-tabling. I switched to Poker Tracker and never looked back. I have not heard much in the way of good comments on newer versions of PO but since I haven't played online since before BF I also haven't gone looking for new reviews of the latest version(s).
