Hi everyone. I'm new to the forums and have been away from online poker for a while and am getting back in to it. Sorry if I'm not in the right sub forum. I had a question about software. I used to use a hud called holdem genius back in the day which isn't around anymore I guess. Anyway I was looking for software like that or poker office that has a free license when you signup for a US poker site. So far the only huds I've seen to offer a free license only have it for sites that don't accept US player. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Hello Friend. Now HUDs are prohibited in these software because of too much information that a poker player have to collect through the mind and not a program.

Not sure if that's accurate. I Know people still use poker office and hold em indicator in many rooms.

HUD's are definitely not prohibited.
I tried about every hud/analysis program available before I decided.
I ended up going with Poker Tracker 4 and I'm very happy with it.
It is very customizable in nearly every way.

They are on the way out by the sound of it, Sites are talking about making it a level playing field and banning trackers, and I agree, you don't see computers at the side of each player giving them stats on the other players at wsop events, if you can't use your brain for that then bad luck for those that use trackers after they are banned.

Cause such software helps to improve skills and watch statistics. I use software because of this reason. I had a lot of leaks so I used Leak buster. It analyzed my game, found leaks and helped to prevent them.

I agree with Sam Carter if you only use software to improve your skills but not during the game. As Senneville asked: "What do you do when your are at the reel table"
One of my poker goals is to play a live tournament one day and certainly they will not let me to use a laptop and HUD, Jivaro or something else.
I personally would forbid the use of any software during the game, I see it as fraud. Computer plays poker and you're just a guy who pushing the buttons.
