Hi
I've been using Holdem Manager for a while now and I already know the basic mechanics about how to make it work on different poker sites, how to configure and customize and use HUD, reports, filters, etc.
Now that I have built decent sample sizes of some opponents, I want to start dissecting THEIR game and spot exploitable leaks in the game of the regs that I'm often playing. Especially their postflop play.
I've done some googling to find inspiration on how to use HEM for this, but I only seem to find very basic tutorials/videos, or sites that promise advanced stuff if I pay a monthly fee.
Anyone know a FREE source of ADVANCED instructional material about dissecting opponents games with HEM? Need some inspiration to kickstart this.

You won't get much for nothing. Either dissect yourself or pay up. You can always post questions or ask for others comments here.

yeah I guess you're right, gotta pay for the goodies or do the footwork myself
Anyway thanks a lot for the link, I will read your stat guide and hopefully find some inspiration there :)

No problem, really that will be a good starter to get a knowledge of what all of the stats mean. As far as ranges, a lot of them are going to be a little different at different stakes as to what you should do given the numbers.

Experiment, and yeah post either in here, or the HEM forums if you are unsure about things.

knowing how to play against regs is a huge factor in improving your game though. ymmv, but beating regs at a certain level constitutes most of the requirements for moving up, i'd think. the rest would be bankroll management.

as to the OP question: google truly free poker training, that may help (depending on where and what stakes you play). personally i was quite happy with a video i found over at cardrunners.
