Hello community,

I hope that I am in the right place to open this topic (if not, please a moderator to delete my post).
I would like to know what strategy you suggest to apply when all the players are in the money and they have a big stack, every time I get involved, and even if I have a big stack I get broke and always when I have a hand good, the opponent wins with the last card, making the monster hand.
At first I thought it only happened to me,and I take a look on videos and twitch to see the others, they get the same but also many times they win , but I lost over 100 times in incredible phases, if I had AAA he flushed with the last card or fullhouse, or 2222.
It's really painful to lose it so maybe someone can tells me some tips, strategy,I do something wrong for sure,I'm wrong sometimes, but not by my fault but by the board. Thank you

Study push/shove charts. They don’t take ICM in to play, but will definitely be useful for what you are looking for.

Float the Turn has a great App that I use and recommend

Hopefully this answers your question, if you have a big stack in the money phase you are better off going after medium stacks and mostly steering away from the big stacks. This is because medium stacks lack the implied odds to play more speculative hands like small pairs or low suited connectors, and their stack sizes are too big to move all-in preflop. Therefore you can opt to bully them out of pots. Confronting big stacks this late is really best done if you have a hand you are willing to commit all your chips in with. There are a ton of other factors too, but hopefully this can help.

If you have big stack push/shove tactics isnt good. I play than few hands tight and in position. If i drop on 10 bb i became more agressive and steal blinds
When you have a pocket AA example bet big preflop, dont allow other to see flop cheap.

At the last part of a tournament with deep stacks, you don't need to risk it all until the end. To win, you only need to take out one player.

Keep playing the hands...
Your opponents can’t get that lucky all the time. Maybe you also need to steal a pot here or there instead of just waiting for monsters?
I don’t know about your style of playing but maybe you are too tight then it’s easy for opponents to put you on hands and people might call more often against a player like that...

Thank you, I don' t know but I am for sure one of the top 10 unlucky players from poker world, even with big hands and flush sometimes I lose on river , everytime the opponent get that 0.1% card..and a few hours ago the same , or many times the oponent get the exactly kind of pair or cards like me , and I start thinking if I will kee playing on PP

There’s so much information and insight, and suggestions here. I’ve played for a while and I know I am perceived as a tight player, but I’m in a serious learning phase. Broadening my range will come.
Poker is cruel, the river is cruel the most important thing to me is to be sure you haven’t set yourself for that bad river, when it could have been removed after the flop or turn, GL

When you enter inmoney you must go for first price, for example difference between 36 pozition and 10 pozition in 12 buy in tournament is 10 dollars ,so that 10 dollars means to you nothing,so you must go hard and loosse you range and go to build a large stuck and win the tournament, you can not win every tournament but if you play like these you have a good chance to win some large cash....

It sounds to me like your doing very good to get that many chances at final tables.
You can’t stop the rivers or flops that beat you but you can select the hands you take to the river.
If there are four suited cards and your getting bet on maybe u don’t call. GL

If this is happening too often then you aren't raising often enough. You need to raise and three-bet with non-premium hands once in a while, especially when you're one of the bigger stacks, in order to get a caller when you have a monster hand.

Poker is a long term game. Once you made the money you still need to play for the win. yes there are many time it wont happen but if you stop playing you will never win. If they are truly getting lucky there is nothing you need to change as it will turn around for you. Even professional players go into long streaks when they just get unlucky but you really need to be honest with yourself. Look over the last few game and see it it was really luck and be brutally honest with yourself. If you are not honest with yourself and part of the issue is your play it will never end for you.

the pros are only 20 percent of the time in the money so if you cant win the tourney, it's normal, you must have much luck to win the tournament. But you can earn a lot of money if you play many table at the same time to delete the luck part

If you barely make it ITM, then yea having that push/shove chart has been helpful to me. But I'm not ever trying to make just minimum payout, so if I'm at the ITM level I'll usually have a hefty stack, in which case just play tight and wait for small stacks to just bet into you when you're sitting on a monster. MOST the time it'll happen eventually. Just helps you slowly build from there while not getting busted on from having to make that coin flip decision.

In this case, I can only say that you need for a couple of Corman of AA or KK, to be aggressive, there is no need to check the number as on the turn or river to the enemy weak hand can pour.
