So my thing is tournaments. I normally play $3 to $5 re-buy tournaments. I am more serious about my play. I have agreed to only play premium hands and I fight myself of course, but for the most part I think I am sticking to my plan. I find that later in tourneys I am struggling to make the ITM cut. For the most part I don't feel I am throwing chips away that hurts me late. My range of hands includes suggested starting hands from this site. My question is should I maybe loosen a bit. There are times I find I hit hands on the flop I probably could have played.
I was thinking suited connectors above say 9 10 as an example. Or as a beginner is the suggested hands better as a staple. Not even sure if I can be labeled a beginner anymore since I have played a lot of hands this year. My screen name on wsop is same as here. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
