so lets assume we are at the 50/100 stage of a tournament and we are kinda aggresive playing hands like Axs or suited connectors , now we are utg+1 and we are dealt 87s or something similar but the player before us limped in what are we supposed to do? i have some trouble figuring that .
If he raised instead i would probably fold because it would be a theoritical mistake to call and it would be hard to bluff him out of the pot but i dont really know how to react against a limp , if i 4bb raise i risk too much of my stack in ep and i cant really play for a small pot if i flop medium pair and limpers usually dont surrender easily , if i limp then i may get raised and i lose bluff equity , the only options to me seems fold or 2.5bb raise but i will get called by the limper.
any ideas what to do?
