Can you also post the immediate previous hand please?

I know you called based on SB's range but 22 is poor choice. Almost a coin flip with anything and SB doesn't look like the type to all-in shove here with trash to steal your blind. I think bad call[emoji20].. but please post previous hand too (you on UTG, villain BB).

Don't think so, your M was about 8.4 so you had time to wait for a better hand. So many hands have you dominated and especially if someone shoves with a larger stack than you, meaning they have a very good hand.

I would have folded the 22 so quickly the cards would have caught fire.

He stolen my blind like 3 times before, that's why I decided to call :(

You have too much courage to go with 22.

I think, from my experience, you needed to wait better cards. Never mind if he stilling you’re blinds, just wait and you will get your blinds and more back. I’m saying this because I was doing things like you did, and almost every time I was busted, but when I had patience I got myself good stack and run deeper on the tournament, or get to myself final table.

You invested all-in on a 22! It was very risky and brave move! The board was not related! Even if you got another club, you had a 2 club. I would not play it!!!

Very bad call, I never made the call all-in with 22, even more so at the risk of whole stack.
PS Who did win?

While I can understand why you called with a pocket pair I would have folded it here. The problem with calling with pocket 2 is you are in a flip at best vs almost any hand he could have or he has you dominated with any other pair. I would have agreed if you were the one pushing all in in the SB with the 2's but calling is a different matter.

hi, with all due respect I think it was not the best decision I would have made a fold with that raise, 22 is not exactly a very strong hand

any trash cards have 43% against you. You are a 7% edge favorite against almost anything or crushed badly. You risked your tournament with a edge that averages out to nothing at best when you are up against a pocket pair is considered/calculated in. You basically committed MTT suicide taking unnecessary risk.

It's still a very small couple, and in most cases I throw it out and I think you should do it in this case too. There are many factors there, but maybe he wanted to steal blends, it's all a matter of time and how you felt that hand at that time, but I often throw such cards, I think you made a mistake. Play on stronger cards! Greeting!;)

Any pair vs two overcards is a coin flip, but you was against two sevens, that was unlucky because you would need two outs to hit or running cards. Looking for the stats, villain was short stack too, but the relative stack is the Hero. Villain stats of 3Bet are high and from SB he can steal with overcards. Its just running good with a better pair, he won the pot. Just keep playing your game.

this call is horrible, 22 is the worst pair, being playable just to crack when you have odds, this is the easy type of fold to play
