Hi guys,

As in the title

Having some interesting encounters with players who are raising the majority of their stack whilst the blinds are high.

For example, effective stacks are 600, blinds are 20/40 and opponent is opening to 120 on the button. Lets say they are opening around 60 percent of hands. Obviously I want to shove more and call less as I will be folding to a c-bet but what is a reasonable range to do so? I've tried following nash but eventually just run into a hand i.e I shove K9o and come up against ATo etc.

Any help appreciated, cheers!

Shoving the Nash range is good unless you know your opponent is deviating in a specific way you can exploit.

I’d usually be happy to shove K9o over a 3x raise 15bb deep, or even call a shove with this hand. Sometimes you’ll run into a strong hand but don’t worry, you played right and there’s nothing you can do sometimes when your opponent’s got it!
