So I was on facebook, and Bovada Poker has a page, and if you like/share/comment, they put u into a drawing for a daily prize for this 12 days of xmas promotion. I won a $30,000 GTD Semi Final ticket, it was a 9 man sit n go, winner takes all, with all being the $55 ticket to the 30k gtd. So I am going to be playing in said tournament 2moro, and I need some advice.
Ok so the deal is, I have played quite a few tournaments on bovada, and they are always the little $3.30 up to $10+1 tourneys. I have played in the sunday 100k 8 times via their lucky draw tournament, and cashed my 1st six time, including a $1800 score for 22nd place (Lost with AA, flopped set). I am wondering exactly how big of a diff it makes to play in a $11 tourney, vs the $55 one. Should I expect more players to be like 100k buyin ($162) or more towards the $11 players. I know that the bigger the entry fee, usually the better the competition. It is a 10k starting stacks TURBO tourney. Now I have not been doing as well in turbos, seems like the better I get at poker, the less I want to gamble and my tourney game has suffered. Anyone with ANY advice on the bigger buyins on bovada, if u have any advice I would love to hear it. Anything helps yall, and I appreciate the help
