ICM and PIO

I am wondering how MTT players factor ICM into PIO?

Is this as simple as using an ICM-calc to get stack values, then inputting those into a PIO solve and running a chip-EV solution?

Or am i confused: are tournament players only using PIO to solve for chip-EV situations and not including ICM considerations?

You are comparing pears with apples, PIO is how to play and ICM is when to play. basically said. For sure they consider ICM, as well ICM of the opponents and more....

Hmm... Intresting question. And which model of chip count usable in tournaments of stud games?
